The Jazz Journalists Association proudly celebrates the 2025 Jazz Heroes, including guest of honor John Edward Hasse (Smithsonian emeritus Music Curator, founder of Jazz Appreciation Month), for a toast to them all, and the nominees for the 30th annual JJA Jazz Awards.
Followed by breakout rooms where attendees will briefly discuss issues regarding jazz venues, jazz fests, jazz education and mentoring, and jazz non-profits with our Jazz Heroes and JJA hosts.
