My interests in jazz are:
in what is happening at the highest level of jazz performance & aesthetics these days; in what used to be called avant-garde, but now goes under the all-encompassing rubric of "progressive" I also remain vitally interested in the best of whataver's meant these days by "Traditional" forms in orchestral, small-group, vocal & international music
