I contributed to JazzTimes magazine from 2002 until recently. In Pittsburgh (where I've lived all my life) My byline can be found in the New York City Jazz Record. I also maintain the blog ShanleyOnMusic.blogspot.com. My latest (non jazz) album with the band the Harry Von Zells, came out in April 2023.
