More about what I do:
My writing has appeared in Jazz Improv Magazine, Jazz Inside Magazine, Music & Literature, JAZZed Magazine, JazzTimes,The New York City Jazz Record, TIDAL Music and various other publications. I'm a Senior Contributor at All About Jazz; I've penned liner notes for artists on Red, Capri, HighNote/Savant, fortune, Ropeadope and other established labels; and I've put together press releases and website biographies for a variety of jazz artists. My work is informed by my experience as a musician and my work in the classroom, as a band director, for over two decades (and counting).
