More about what I do:
I am a writer and professor of American literature in Tokyo, Japan. I teach courses in American music, art, film and literature. I write about jazz, art, politics, education and Tokyo life for various publications. My website covers the jazz scene in Tokyo, along with blues and alternative music. My site is one of the very few to cover Japanese jazz in English.
