For over 30 years I´ve been working as a jazz journalist, mostly in relation to Cuban and international jazz. My works have been published in two books: Jazzeando and Jazzeando a lo Cubano.
For 20 years I´ve been a writer and producer for La Esquina del Jazz (The Jazz Corner), a daily program on CMBF, a radio station heard all over Cuba.
I´m also a writer and founder of A Todo Jazz, a program on Cuban television. I'm an assistant editor at the journal Bohemia
Previously, I was the chief editor for Sitio del Jazz Cubano, which belongs to Cubarte, within the Ministry of Culture.
I´m a founder and president of the second Club Cubano del Jazz.
I´m a member of the Committee of Cubadisco Awards and also a member of the jury of this committee for jazz and other categories.
